Rain On The Land by Wayne Monbleau
A religious conversion in Waynes life brought him to the field of Gospel music. Between 1977-1984 Wayne released 4 albums, while studying for Seminary. Ordained, Monbleau put music aside for awhile and founded the non-profit Loving Grace Ministries out of which his live syndicated 6 day a week call-in radio program "Lets Talk About Jesus" arose. Covering New York, Philadelphia, Boston and the northeastern seaboard, "LTAJ", now in its 22nd year, is the longest running syndicated Christian live talk radio show in the country. Being dubbed "a renaissance man," Monbleau has also penned a number of books, the latest, "You Dont Find Water On The Mountaintop," has been released nationally by Fleming Revell / Baker Book House, a major publisher of religious works. In 1997 Wayne met Tim Carbone, leader of Northwestern New Jerseys top voted "bestlive act" Kings In Disguise. The instrumental and technical prowess of Kings In Disguise was just the element needed for Waynes brand of "driving infectious spiritual pop." Joined by Grammy winning Paul Winter Consort members Eugene Friesen and Rhonda Larson, the result is the stunning and immaculately crafted RAIN ON THE LAND. Recorded at world-class Mixolydian studios by Don Sternecker and mixed by Gene Paul at DB Plus in New York, RAIN ON THE LAND is brimming with insightful lyrics wrapped up in hook-laden tunes and is being hailed as a "Pop Gem" from the bustling music scene of Northwestern New Jersey. |
